“What do you do?”

Now here is another frustrating question that guys get all the time.

She’s setting you up to pidgeon-hole yourself. She’s trying to get you to sum up your entire person in a word or two so she can use HER imagination to fill in the gaps and file you away in a certain catagory in her brain.

Don’t hate her for this, these are just her survival instincts working. Posing such questions is as natural for her as drinking water.

However, as soon as a woman thinks she has you figured out and nicely catagorized, her interest in you has almost completly retired.

So how do we keep her from pidgeon-holing us when she asks such questions?

Simple !

We do it by not pidgeon-holing OURSELVES with our own lazy answers.

Even if you think you have an impressive job title like “lawyer” or “archeologist”, you are severly limiting your sexiness by summing up “what you do” in a couple words.

In order to increase your attractiveness in the eyes of a woman, you need to get her curious. You need to say things that will make her want to ask more questions, things that will make her interested in hearing more about you.

What you DON’T want is to give her brain a chance to fill in the blanks with her own imagination, because then she will form a picture of you from the start that most likely will not be very accurate.

But by getting her to ask more questions, you have a chance to give her a sharper and more accurate image of who you are and “what you do”.

Say something like “well there’s no simple answer to that question” and go on to tell her about some of the most exciting things you do in your life and how they make you FEEL when you are doing them. Remember, the woman’s world is a world of emotion, so paint an exhilerating picture for her.

And if she starts pressing with more specific question about your “how you make MONEY?” etc, there’s also easy ways to avoid the Pidgeon-Hole.
